Karl Blackburn, President and CEO of the Conseil du Patronat du Québec, explains the important role of economic immigrants in fueling Quebec’s economy. Karl Blackburn, a businessman and former political figure, joined the Quebec Employers Council (QEC) as President and CEO in June 2020 after spending 4 years as a member of the board of directors. The QEC brings together employers and sector-based associations working in all fields, in all regions, to defend employers' interest and actively promote a business environment that leads to responsible, sustainable and inclusive economic development.
